Welcome to the KOS Wiki
A searchable guide to every public repository in the Kentucky Open Science GitHub organization, rebuilt automatically from GitHub every night.
Kentucky Open Science publishes its research software, trained models, benchmarks, and datasets in the open at github.com/Kentucky-Open-Science. Right now that is 72 public repositories: 48 original projects (34 active, 14 archived) and 24 forks of other projects. The most common languages are Python, PHP, and JavaScript.
Research areas
- Language models & AI tooling — Large language models, agent tooling, and services for using them.
- Medical imaging & digital pathology — CT, whole-slide pathology images, endoscopy, and ECG.
- Neuroscience & EEG — EEG signal processing and seizure detection.
- Robotics, drones & sensing — Robots, drones, LiDAR, IoT, and the sensor data they collect.
- Computer vision — Object detection and video analysis.
- Research & clinical informatics — REDCap modules and tools for research and hospital data.
- Other projects — Everything that does not fit an area yet. Add GitHub topics to a repository to file it.

Help wanted: the accessibility bounty board
This site is being brought up to WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard adopted by the ADA Title II web rule, one small task at a time. Each task has automated acceptance tests; a volunteer claims it, fixes it (with or without a coding agent), and a maintainer reviews the change. Merged fixes earn points on the leaderboard.
9 tasks are open to claim, 0 are in progress, and 1 have been completed. See the bounty board.
